Can I backdate my invoices?

Is there any option in the system to backdate invoices, and if so, what are the conditions, permissions, or limitations involved in doing so?

Yes, you can. But you have to possess the right privileges. Only Admins can edit or backdate invoices

If you have admin privileges, you can backdate an invoice. If you are a non-admin user, request permission from the admin to allow backdating. Go to settings > Check the Can backdate checkbox. Admin can also set the maximum date a transaction can be backdated.
